I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 3 today, and it was less than I expected. The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has a huge reputation, and it's obvious that the third movie was going to be huge. But when I saw AWE I was a little disappointed. The other movies which have more stylised violence than real-looking violence, well this one had pretty much no stylised violence at all. All of this violence was a bit un-called for. Plus there was bit too much dialogue. The other movies having so much non-stop action made this movie look a bit boring. Also Jack Sparrow and the other characters cracking jokes in the other movies makes this one look a bit serious. But this movie still kept it's good special effects and complicated storyline. So in conclusion this one was a bit different to the other ones. The story didn't turn out how I wanted it to. So many of the characters died and every body's storeys came to a conclusion. There are allot of twists and turns in this film. I give it 3 and a half stars.
