Superman Returns is a super-hero movie about Superman *der*. Superman was origionally a DC comic book. Many movies have been released about superman but the last superman movie came out Ninteen years ago. There has been a TV-Series based on Superman called Smallville which is about a teenager named Clark Kent who has super powers and who lives on a farm. Also this series follows Clark trying to discover who he is and him trying to hide his super powers.
In this movie, five years have passed and Superman returns to Earth and remains his identity as Clark Kent. Lois Lane is in a relationship and has a son because you see Lois was Superman's one and only love. Superman's Enemy has an evil plan to get rid of Superman for good.
This movie was also released in Imax 3-D.
